Hello everybody! How are you all doing? So today, I'm finally sharing a list of a few "on plan" food items that you can make yourself at home, instead of purchasing at the grocery store. I started working on this post a few months ago, and I'm just now getting around to completing and publishing… Continue reading Food Items You Can Make at Home Instead of Buying (that are THM friendly)
Hello everyone! How is everybody doing? It seems a lot of us are still in self quarantine at the moment, and many of us are cooking at home... a lot. Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a recipe for sourdough garlic knots that I made for the first time yesterday! They turned out well, and I got 40 garlic knots from this recipe, which is pretty nice! For this recipe you'll be using a "fed" sourdough starter, so if yours is in the fridge, go ahead and pull it out and feed it so it will be ready… Continue reading Chocolate Chip Sourdough Skillet Cookie
So when I was working on growing my sourdough starters (I have two), sometimes I would take the discard, put it into a cake pan, and bake it. Most of the time I would then wrap this thin piece of baked starter and put in the freezer. What I discovered is that these little rounds… Continue reading Easy Sourdough Starter Personal Pizza Crust
I am very new to the world of sourdough baking, but I'm enjoying learning how to cook with this special kitchen addition. It is fascinating to "feed" my starter and watch it grow while it sits on my counter, and then being able to cook with it is pretty neat, in my opinion. So here… Continue reading Sourdough Drop Biscuits
